Family of 5 travelling from Australia - 2 adults and kids ages 10, 8, 3. Main bedroom with 2 king single beds and the tantami room with 2 beds as well. Would have preferred a queen or king size bed in the main bedroom instead. The rooms were decent size for a decent Japanese room. Adequate space to store luggages and other items. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful with whatever questions we had. Location was good - 7 Eleven shop just down the road to buy essential supplies, 16 mins walk from the Teramachi market with plenty restaurants and stores to shop.

We had very good stay in the Rinn hotel. The room was extremely spacious, very clean and extremely quiet. The bathroom was spacious with a bath and shower ('wet room'). Amenities were good too. Bedding was comfortable and spacious. Airconditioning was very good too, as was the wifi. The neighbourhood was excellent and safe too, with a nice vibe (peaceful yet not boring) with a 7/11 convenience store around the corner, plenty of coffee bars nearby and within 10-15 mins walking distance of Kyoto's main street.

We were in a quadruple room which can have 2 single beds and a tatami room that would have an additional 2 futons. As there was only 2 of us the futons were not setup meaning the tatmi room was empty, meaning it felt very spacious, and the sofa/TV area felt a good size compared to other hotels in the area. The bathroom was also very spacious. Our request to open a window which required a key was dealt with quickly.

We were 5 adults traveling from Canada our first time in Japan. The location was great. Quiet but still very close to the center of town. Lovely coffee shop next door that served the most amazing coffee and desserts. THE ROOM was beautiful. We had a 1 bedroom and a 2 bedroom for our party of 5 people. Both rooms were fabulous. The bathrooms were super clean and quite large by Japanese standards.

Maria

The amenities were amazing. The robes, slippers, sheets, the extra towels readily available in the room. We did not use it all but, it was really nice to have it readily available. The drier and washer was a plus. It is also very close to the bus station and walking distance to everything. The staff were very helpful asking us what our plan was for the day and helping us getting there.
